Alyssa, class of 2013

Probably about 14 or 15 years ago, I babysat an adorable little girl. I was always so excited when her Mom called to see if I was available. Now, that adorable little girl is a gorgeous high school senior. I was super stoked when her Mom asked if I was available to do her pictures. We set the date, and I was nervous. I was stunned by Alyssa's beauty! I thought I saw her "sucking it in" as girls tend to do, and I called her on it! I said, "are you serious," there is nothing to suck in! Don't you agree? Pure stunning! This is only half of the pictures, but I hope Alyssa and her Mom absolutely love them! Stay tuned for the 2nd half!

Alyssa~ Thank you for bringing your game face and your gorgeous smile! And congratulations on your last year of high school!

sidenote: my logo went right across her face in a few of these. =( but in her prints, won't be there!

if you like these, please head on over to my facebook page, Like it, and leave me some love.

Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere

Tonight was the perfect weather to go outside and blow bubbles. While I cleaned out my car, Audrey perfected the art. Then, I took some photos. =) I just love her!

Mama and daughter

A few months ago, a very good friend of mine asked if I would do some pictures of her and her daughter. Of course, I said yes! I am in love with the photos, so I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to post them. Hopefully this blog does them more justice than facebook did them. Eileen and Iyana, thanks for letting me take your pictures and being patient in the cold weather!

Puyallup Parasols

We try to go to the fair every year, it's sort of a tradition in a city with the 7th largest state fair in the country. =) The food, the smells, the people watching...ahh, I love me a good state fair!  This year we had yet another wonderful day, just our little family, and when I saw this parasol bike "thing" I knew it would make a very awesome photograph. With a couple tweaks to the color, I love this! Pretty sure it will be getting a spot on the wall in our new home. =)

Family

A few weeks ago, my family and I traveled to South Carolina for a wedding. I love weddings, and of course, could not resist taking my camera along. I was a bit nervous with the humidity, but all turned out fine. I was not the photographer, but here are some shots I managed to get. The wedding was gorgeous, and full of love, and I could not be happier for the couple. Congrats John and Bridgid!

Logo

It's done. I've had it for a few weeks, but am just now getting around to posting. I am so stinkin' excited to share it with you all. I just love it. I feel like it really embodies who I am. I can't wait to start using it, and branding myself. A lot of hard work to follow, starting Sunday. I get the opportunity to go to a 3 hour photo workshop with a wonderful photographer. I can't wait!! So, without further ado, here it is!!

It's a little light here, but I assure you, it looks wonderful on photos. =)

Long time coming =)

For a while now, I have been trying to figure out how to "watermark" my images.  Not that I've taken too many worth stealing and calling one's own, it is just cool to have my name on an image I took.  And today, I finally figured it out.  Now, I need to get a logo and figure out how to do that!  Anyway, here is one of my favorite shots from my 3 year photoshoot with Audrey the other day with my name on it!  I know you're not as stoked as I am...but I am kinda loving it!
